My artwork examines the future, rediscovers the past and focuses on complex challenges in order to forge a link between cultures, places, times and events. I am concerned with the balance of high technology and indigenous life, and a significant component of this is a growing rediscovery of the indigenous environment in our modern times.

My works are influenced by social, cultural, religious, spiritual and political norms. Hence my ethnic paintings, whatever their forms and motives reflect the magical ritualism of my rich indigenous roots.
