I believe that mural art has an effective and vital role in education and information drive aside from its power and magic in adding beauty to our public spaces. Art is a potent force to inform, educate, interact, negotiate and communicate with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and social classes in order to create a healthy multicultural society.
Art communicates universal elements of human experience and therefore can foster cross-cultural dialogue and can be a tool for encouraging respect among people of global diversity. This is not to say that art can unite humankind, but works of art can be aesthetic ways in which we learn how to relate to one another and promote understanding among communities in diverse culture, faith, race and colors.
My mural and public art projects may provoke thoughts and initiate public discussion as they project issues on peace, justice and the environment. They may represent a call for a more just and humane future to live in peace with enhanced sensitivity. and live together in continuing peace, shared diversity, dignity and respect.
